Klaus Schütz

Klaus Schütz (born 17 September 1926 in Heidelberg[1]) is a German politician of the Social Democratic Party (SPD).

Biography

He was Mayor of West Berlin from 1967 to 1977,[1] serving as President of the Bundesrat in 1967/68.[2] After his resignation he worked as German Ambassador to Israel until 1981 and Director General of the Deutsche Welle broadcaster from 1981 to 1987. And president of the Red Cross
